Dear Mr. Shahed,
Salaam.
The Quran is the only book of guidance. It gives us all the explanations
we need for our salvation. So the explanation of the word "Khatamal-Anbiya"
is also in the Quran. We do not need hadith or hearsay to understand the
meaning of this word.
Please
examine the following verses carefully. The words "scripture" and "prophethood"
are always connected to each other.
[3:79]
Never would a human being whom GOD blessed with the scripture and
prophethood say to the people, "Idolize me beside GOD." Instead, (he would
say), "Devote yourselves absolutely to your Lord alone," according to the
scripture you preach and the teachings you learn.
[6:89]
Those were the ones to whom we have given the scripture, wisdom, and
prophethood. If these people disbelieve, we will substitute others in
their place, and the new people will not be disbelievers.
[29:27] We granted him Isaac and Jacob, we assigned to his descendants
prophethood and the scriptures, we endowed him with his due recompense in
this life, and in the Hereafter he will surely be with the righteous.
[45:16] We have given the Children of Israel the scripture, wisdom, and
prophethood, and provided them with good provisions; we bestowed upon them
more blessings than any other people.
[57:26] We sent Noah and Abraham, and we granted their descendants
prophethood and the scripture. Some of them were guided, while many were
wicked.
The Quran is a perfect, complete and fully detailed book.
[6:114] Shall I seek other than GOD as a source of law, when He has
revealed to you this book fully detailed?* Those who received the
scripture recognize that it has been revealed from your Lord, truthfully.
You shall not harbor any doubt.
[41:3]
A scripture whose verses provide the complete details, in an Arabic Quran,
for people who know.
[6:38]
All the creatures on earth, and all the birds that fly with wings, are
communities like you. We did not leave anything out of this book.** To
their Lord, all these creatures will be summoned.
Could you tell me why do we need another scripture after the Quran, when
Allah says that His Quran is complete, perfect and fully detailed?
The Quran is undoubtedly the final scripture. And, the Prophet Muhammad
was the final Prophet. The word "Khatamal-Anbiya" means "Final Prophet",
nothing else.
[68:35] Shall we treat the Muslims like the criminals?
[68:36] What is wrong with your logic?
[68:37] Do you have another book to uphold?
[68:38] In it, do you find anything you want?
Sadly, the majority of us defy the above warning of Allah and uphold other
sources (hadith,sunnah,fatwa, tafseer, etc.) beside the Quran!!!
