[The holy Quran 2:256] There shall be no
compulsion in religion: the right way is now distinct from the wrong way.
Anyone who denounces the devil and believes in GOD has grasped the strongest
bond; one that never breaks. GOD is Hearer, Omniscient.
[10:99] Had your Lord willed,
all the people on earth would have believed. Do you want to force the people
to become believers?
[6:107] Had GOD willed, they
would not have worshiped idols. We did not appoint you as their guardian,
nor are you their advocate.
[7:199] You shall resort to
pardon, advocate tolerance, and disregard the ignorant.
[16:90] GOD advocates justice,
charity, and regarding the relatives. And He forbids evil, vice, and
transgression. He enlightens you, that you may take heed.
[17:54] Your Lord knows you
best. According to His knowledge, He may shower you with mercy, or He may
requite you. We did not send you to be their advocate.
[39:41] We have revealed the
scripture through you for the people, truthfully. Then, whoever is guided is
guided for his own good, and whoever goes astray goes astray to his own
detriment. You are not their advocate.
[109:6] "To you is your religion, and to me is
my religion."
Those who
don't believe in God and don't lead a righteous life will be ended up in Hell. It is God
alone Who could punish them in this life as well due to their disbelieving
and transgressing. God annihilated many communities before for their
disbelieving and transgressing and His annihilation process is still
continuing in the form of various kinds of natural disasters. But those are
God's acts.
Messengers of
God come as preacher, warner and bearer of good news. Therefore, we have no
right at all to force anybody to believe. Clearly God doesn't give us such
right. Taliban, Al-Qaeda, JMB etc. are clearly disobeying the Quranic ethics
and commands. That's why; they have to pay the price! So question raised which
sources in Islam promote hatred and violence? Many hadiths are violent and
deceptive in nature which promote violence and hatred in people. Violence
and hatred are never supported by God words, the holy Quran. The holy Quran
advocates self-defense only.
