Alykum and Sholom Aleichem.
I
perceive a great similarity between Jews and Muslims:
Both
Jews and Muslims believe in God of Abraham.
Jews and
Muslims are cousins of each other.
Majority
of Jews uphold "Talmud" and not the Torah.
Majority
of Muslims uphold "Hadith" and not the Quran.
Majority
of Jews uphold the teaching of their "rabbi".
Majority
of Muslims uphold the teaching of their "ulamah".
Jews and
Muslims follow similar dress code.
Jewish
women wear "kippah" and Muslim women wear "hijab".
Both
Jews and Muslim priests wear cap and beard.
Both
Jews and Muslim males observe circumcision.
Jews and
Muslims do not eat pork.
Jews eat
"Kosher" and Muslims eat "Halal"
Both
Jews and Muslims think they are the only chosen people of God!
But, there
is one important difference!
Jews do
not revere Moses beside God. But, majority of Muslims revere Muhammad
beside God, which is shirk and totally against the teaching of the Quran!
[The Quran 3:79]
Never would a human being whom GOD blessed with
the scripture and prophethood say to the people, "Idolize me beside GOD."
Instead, (he would say), "Devote yourselves absolutely to your Lord
alone," according to the scripture you preach and the teachings you learn.
