A hadith follower’s protest: This forum(Progressive-Muslim) cannot be exclusively for anti-Hadith only. Let people express views and that's way one may go for less fight between sects. I am myself against sects.
My response: Yes, this forum is for the holy Quran only. That's the objective kept in my mind I founded this forum. To allow pro-hadith messages means allowing anti-Koranic messages. So how can we allow so? And there is no shortage of pro-hadith forum in net anyway. If we allow pro-hadith messages you will not find Quranic messages basically here! Devil is very clever so he created so big big volumes of hadiths and once you start to read all those, basically you will not get time to read the Quran! You can spend entire your life(even you can not finish!) just reading Bukhari, Muslim, Abu Dauad, Nassai, Ibna Maja, Trimidi and many other hadiths' big volumes. Many Thanks. Anis A hadith follower’s comment: The letter writer and people like him ( not many ) is that they say Quran only and ignore Sunnah or Hadith altogether.This is a position which was not held by any sect of Islam or any major Imam of Akida or Fiqh of the past and the present. Unfortunately they do not realise that this position is a non-starter and will achieve nothing. It is a different matter to consider some hadith as spurious or weak by Isnad or texual examination principles, it is a different matter to deny the Sunnah altogether My response: Unfortunately your this(below) email is much offensive toward Islam than previous email! I can confirm you that not many people are Quran followers indeed. Fortunate people are always very few in human history. Are you looking for who are in majority?! Then you can even consider joining in atheist/agonistic group; they are becoming more popular in many big nations like in many European countries, China etc.
Obviously those who follow the holy Quran only, they are not belonging to any sects. They have only one identity and that is Muslim. Those who were/are creating sects in Islam, are they Muslim? I am not going to say they disbeliever( kafir). But let's see what Allah(God) says about them: [The Quran 6.159] Surely they who divided their religion into parts and became sects, you have no concern with them; their affair is only with Allah, then He will inform them of what they did. [The Quran 19.69-70] Then We will most certainly draw forth from every sect of them him who is most exorbitantly rebellious against the Beneficent God. Again We do certainly know best those who deserve most to be burned therein. You are very happy being a person in your sect and so does everybody else in other sects! Yes, Quran confirms it too. So wait and see the consequence and we are waiting too. [The Quran 23.53] But they cut off their religion among themselves into sects, each part rejoicing in that which is with them. In the holy Quran nowhere you can find any existence of prophet's Sunnah. Only one eternal Sunnah and that is God’s Sunnah. Prophet’s Sunnah was invented by devil after prophet's death to divert you toward hell. Prophet Muhammad had no right and never followed anything but the holy Quran.
